The law firm of Losi & Gangi is an LLC which concentrates their practice on workers compensation matters and personal injury law.

Biography:
Jeffery D. Gangi has been the managing partner of Losi & Gangi since 2000. He was born and bred in Buffalo, New York. He is a proud Alumni of Canisius High School where he graduated with honors and played hockey, baseball and tennis.

After graduating from Canisius in 1986 he attended Ithaca College. He majored in Accounting and Finance with a minor in Political Science. While at Ithaca, he played men’s hockey where he was a 3-year captain and 1st team all-conference his sophomore, junior and senior years. He graduated from Ithaca College Summa Cum Laude.

After graduating college, he attended the University of Dayton School of Law from 1990 to 1993, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.

After graduating, he returned to Buffalo and began working at McMahon & Losi. In 2000, he was named partner of Losi & Gangi, where has continues to operate as Managing Partner.

Jeff has dedicated his legal career to fighting for the rights of injured workers and those injured through the fault of others. He is a founding member of Losi & Gangi and has built the firm into one of the most successful Workers Compensation and Personal Injury Firms in Western New York.

Jeff is a member of the Erie County Bar Association, NYS Bar Association, NYS Trial Lawyers, Injured Workers Bar Association, and Workers Compensation Alliance.

He lives in Lakeview, NY with his wife, Lisa. When not working hard for hard working Western New Yorkers, Jeff can be found on local tennis courts or golf courses.

Biography:
Scaffidi graduated with honors from Tulane Law School in New Orleans, LA, and returned to his hometown of Buffalo, New York to begin his law practice. He began his legal career handling insurance defense work before the Workers’ Compensation Board, but quickly discovered he preferred representing injured workers. “It was obvious to me from the very beginning that it was the injured workers who really needed good representation in this system.”

Scaffidi joined Losi & Gangi in 2016 as an associate attorney. He previously served as the Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Committee of the Bar Association of Erie County and remains an active member in that association as well as the New York State Bar Association and the Injured Workers Bar Association.

Mr. Scaffidi has been recognized for his work in Workers’ Compensation by Business First/Buffalo Law Journal’s “Who’s Who in Law” and was the recipient of the 2016 “Attorney Excellence Award” from the Center for Elder Law and Justice.

Patrick Brown Esq.

Of Counsel to Losi-Gangi

Patrick J. Brown counsels the law firm and has been practicing law since the date of his admission to the bar in 1977. Mr. Brown is a litigator who limits his practice to the area of serious personal injury, white collar criminal defense and commercial litigation.

He was admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York and all of the trial courts in New York State. He has litigated seven-figure personal injury cases through verdict and has tried a number of high-profile criminal cases, including cases involving police corruption and misfeasance by licensed professionals. He was also a member of the defense team for the so-called Lackawanna Six, and one of the first prosecutors in the country under the Patriot Act. Mr. Brown has also argued many appeals in both New York State and federal appellate courts.

Mr. Brown is a member of a number of professional organizations including the New York State Bar Association, Erie County Bar Association, where he was a director. He is also a member of the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association, where he was also a director. He is a Million Dollar Advocates Forum® and Multi-Million Dollar Advocates Forum® Life Member.

Recognizing that service to the client is the hallmark of proper legal practice, Mr. Brown prides himself on frequent client communication in order to maximize client goals. He strongly believes that in order to effectively represent a client, a lawyer must first understand how the legal problem is affecting the client on a personal level. This is especially applicable in cases where the client has been seriously injured or is facing criminal investigation or was involved in a commercial dispute.

Jeffrey K. Moncher

About Jeffrey:

Moncher, a native of Staten Island, New York, completed his undergraduate studies at SUNY at Buffalo and graduated with a degree in accounting and finance in 1988. He then attended Brooklyn Law School before returning to Western New York to make it his home.

Early in his legal career, Moncher worked in the areas of criminal law and personal injury. However, for the past 16 years he has dedicated his practice solely to the area of representing injured workers. Moncher has developed a passion for helping injured workers overcome the struggles they face in obtaining the benefits they deserve.

Mr. Moncher is a member of the Bar Association of Erie County, the New York State Bar Association, and the Injured Workers Bar Association. Moncher resides in Clarence, NY with his wife and two sons.
